@ T2t, though I used my mobile phone to browse most times, I have not used it to trade forex. UWCFX can be opened, with your mobile phone, but you should used browsing software like, Bolt browser and Ucweb browser, because UWCFX has a very high secure site. Mobile phones can be used to trade forex, as far, your phone is gprs enabled. Also when browsing with the phones, ensure that java script is enabled. Other views concerning this will be welcome, because i also want to know more about using mobile phones to trade.

If you are refering trading platform only smart phone and windows mobile are available in mobile. They say that it have a problem because you cannot put custom indicator and you cannot use EA. The other thing is the features are also less and the quality is not that good. Another thing also is the signal of the broker become lag when the signal is not stable. i also heard from one broker that they are developing trading platform that will support symbian phone. It would be great if they developed software for symbian because symbian phone is much cheaper than android and other pocket pc phone.

Trading forex on a mobile phone or device would be a welcomed idea, but definitely it should not be the aspiration and intention of a beginner because it may be very difficult to analyze the chart due to the size. Although it is very flexible to trade on a mobile device , it is better managed by an experienced trader.

Yeah its good to trade on mobile if you have not facility of P.C and internet but trading on just mobile phone is not a good idea at all. We cannot use indicators in mobile trading properly and cannot see the market movement properly, so its not advisable to do trade on mobile phone every time. You can use mobile trading just to view the condition of your opened trade and close it but complete trading on mobile is some difficult and can be dangerous.

Yes, simple handsets are not possible to use for trading in forex. For trading in forex through mobile, we need smart phones or windows mobile like Yamsonjulius said above. We need smart phones that are able to play the features of indicators and charts. It should be easy to use and user friendly to the trader so that trading can be done in an easy way.

You can use your mobile phone to trade forex but is not advisable because of many reasons. It is like that you chart will not be visible enough to understand what is happening .Again there is tendency that you will not get all the forex sites that are used in forex trading like forex news sites. It is equally possible that your phone may not be fast as normal laptop. For UWCFX ,you can get its platform for mobile phone but remenber all the disadvantages mentioned above.

Mobiles like windows mobiles, HTC business mobiles can be used to trade in forex. There are lots of companies that provides these types of facilities to the traders like mobitradeone.com

I can confirm that there are so far no good applications on sony erricson. But then again this is not business phone either it is meant for music and simple tasks. You can find few android apps which may work on android phones from nokia, sony and other brands. Iphone being one of the popular phone in the US market it is possible to have apps for iphone related to forex or stock trading. In fact there is section in both android and iphone store to buy apps related to finance. Spend 2$ to get them and you'll be able to trade or watch market activity using these apps.

Yes you can do forex trading on your cell phone but i think its not good to trade on your mobile. In mobile trading you will not get access to full features. You can use mobile for trading if your position is open, then you can check the market situation and can take action according to this but fully depend on mobile is not good at all. Its just my opinion and i have never tried mobile trading.

You can use chartsaccess.com for monitoring charts that are open on MT4 workstation. If you set "high quality images" in your phone browser you will get clear chart with custom indicators from MT4 attached.

Trading forex with mobile phones is not so good idea. It is possible to do this with some limited types of mobiles but there are many problems that occur while trading the forex through mobiles. I use my PC to do forex trading so it is easy to do this job but when you are in mobiles you will face many problems like the problem in network, small fonts and characters makes it difficult to read, less quality and less features.

It is very tough to give logic why mobile phones are okay or mobile phones can not be used for good trading. There are some specific mobile phones (smartphones) those are capable to do that. But I think we can not compare the reliability of computer with mobile phones. Those mobile phones carry the functions to perform the trading but it is not so easy. Huge trading is not good with mobile phones. But you can use mobile phones just in case you can not use computer at the moment. If you are talking about starting, then mobile phones is not good. It is because you are yourself newbie and it will be tough for you to trade with the help of mobile phones. This is simply my logic. Do what you feel the best.

Yes, you can trade in forex through mobile phone which has functions of windows and other computer related function. You need browser which is used in mobile phone and easily available in market. You need to go to market buy those software of browsing, install that in mobile phone and start forex trading. All depends on you mobile functions.

well till now with the mobile phone the forex trading is very difficult and not common because you need a mobile with gprs activated and java script enabled and software like bolt to browse which i think is not a easy job.
although it is not a common and rarely a trader is doing this, i think in the near future it will be common and it should be. authorities of trading should take steps to make it common, easy and simple then the trading will be more common and easy

I do not know whether UWCFX has a provision for mobile trading, but i know that mobile trading is possible in forex trading. The only option of mobile trading is the website that uwcfx launched that we can connect to it using normal URL. I do not know whether it will support mobile trading. The best answer will be if you call their support and ask them directly.

It is quite possible to do Forex trading through your mobile phone provided that the mobile phone is updated with all internet facilities and you have a good mobile phone.
At the same time to do few transactions sometimes mobile phone is just okay but it is difficult and involves more risk to do Forex trading with mobile as there is a different software for Forex trading and lots of windows need to be open at the same time which takes more time over mobile phone which makes it all the more difficult to trade over mobile phone.

It is true that some sites can be accessed with mobile phones(with the facilities) but the efficiency you get with the use of a desktop or laptop PC cannot be compared to that of a mobile phone, no matter how sophisticated. A mobile phone would not grant you the access to multiple sites like a PC would to give you all the necessary information you need to make a particular trade, not to mention the hiccups that are bound to arise from the mobile network provider in the cause of trading. I personally don't advice such.

We know that now the brokers eg UWCFX provide a mobile platform for PDAs and iphone. So that we can do mobile trading when it has a PDA or iphone. It's suitable for you who like to travel and still want to trade forex. For trading can be a maximum, then you should make a transaction when the mind is fresh. Then, I present a new plan to buy a PDA for mobile trading, because not having it.

It is good that they provide a software for blackberry phones. Blackberry`s are among the top 3 most popular phones in the world today so it is necessary that all forex brokers offer a terminal that can work in it. I will surely get a blackberry in the coming months in order to be versatile in my trading of the forex market.

I think mobile phone are not sufficient nor reliable for trading business in Forex because Forex is very high performance software which could not open easily in mobile. However mobile phone presents internet facilities but JAVA Script, GPRS, Google, Yahoo and other network opened in Mobile Phone but UWCFX could not open in mobile screen because its highly software which are not allowed in mobile phones. So trading with mobile phone is very difficult and very harsh.

Just correct me,
In mobile trading we don't need such screen like laptop or computer, the software was built such that it can adjust the whole screen to mobile, and also in mobiel trading we can just watch the market, closing running trades and opening new trades this only you can do.

You can't do analysis in mobiel trading, This is only the disadvanatge of mobile trading, i am not aware whether in some costly mobile we can also do analysis or not.

You are wrong. Although the mobile trading has it small disadvantages, that does not mean that it is not sufficient. It can open trades, close it, set pending order, we can perform analysis with it and the most important thing about it is that we can trade everywhere we find ourselves in the world.

You can trade with mobile phone but you don't have to, it's a time consuming venture that will only end in erroneous entry. The best use of mobile phone is just to follow the market and maybe close your order. It is too tiny to afford good visual aid to judgment. You can also decide levels of price for entry on your PC and then use mobile phone to follow when you're on the go.

But you can also trade with other mobile devices like iPad and Android tablets with 7 inches screen or wider. Many brokers already have trading platforms for these devices.

After testing this with a Nokia symbian phone, i will conclude that trading with your laptop is the best, though many people are now offering this service through their platform including UWCFX.

Though i still see people who are trading with their upgraded mobile phones. The features is just the same also with your laptop, but then you must have to get used to it or you won't like it.

It is good for anyone who is always on the road.

I agree with you. The use of mobile phone for trading the forex market, is quite an innovative invention in this modern time, with lots of advantages like the conveneince of trading at any time and in any location, irrespective of the circumstance.
Mobile phone forex trading can also be done with the use of an ipad and HTC business mobile. Its invention is primarily done to serve in the area where the use of a personal computer with not be convenient to use. Hence the major advantage of the use of a mobile phone is majorly of an advantage because of its portability.

Yeah, it is possible to trade on Forex from mobile phone but I don't think that it will be a great idea to trade from a mobile. Though it will bring you some benefits as you would be able to trade from any place and you will not have to sit in front of your computer.
Only a few mobile phones have the features which support Forex trading from mobiles but you can not use indicators much effectively. Most of the brokers do not allow Forex trading from mobile phones but you can find a few one.

Yes. I'm agree with you. It's better to understand and learn, tradind from the front of your monitor, but... is more comfortable on their phone . Not consume much energy as a PC and you can take anywhere with you (which you can not do with a PC). But everybody does as he thinks is best. Just all of us have one goal, namely profit. First of all welcome to our forum. Second ... you must work very hard, learn, read up to know even what is about forex. Is not so simple as it sounds. As you said ... money is very hard to receive, with work but not quickly. And about forex trading with mobile phone ... for beginners it's much better on a PC to trade, because they understand better graphics and ... a, b, c of the forex platform.

I have heard of some brokers that allow traders to trade with mobile phones. Actually they provide those trading facilities in smart phones. They update about trends and traders trade with the help of mobile sets. But I have not still tried it yet. I have just heard of it so I did not bother to check it all. Trading Forex with Mobile Phones would be an advanced idea i guess.Well the latest technology of Mobiles phones says ,it is almost possible to do everything on your mobiles phones that you are doing on your personal computers. You can trade using highly expensive and more advanced mobile sets like blackberry,HTC mobile sets and other sets having relatively large screens. The important thing is high speed internet connection,if you don't have it you can't trade accurately. You know the speed of market,so lot of changes are being occurred in every minute thats why high speed internet connection is must.

Yeah, I agree with you. The one and only major advantage I see with the use of a mobile phone to trade the forex is basically on it portability, and its flexible nature. Such that it can be done anywhere, even in the toilet, while walking on the way, or even in the playing round. All you need do is bring it out of your pocket and off you go. And definitely, the mobile phone must have internet connection facility. But, like you said, a newbie in the forex trade should not indulge himself in this system of trade. He should be contented with the use of a computer system for his trades.

Of course, it is possible to trade with the use of cell phones. But not from all types of cells. Classic mobiles or simple sets are not applicable for doing so. The modern sets like Samsung Galaxy Tab, HTC mobiles, etc would be suitable ones. It is because these cells have very wide screen and high resolution which would be best to see the charts and indicators properly.

You must know that there are many mobile phones which can open all the sites you want. You said something of symbian there .... NOKIA symbian gave up this operating system, so there will be no FOREX application for Symbian will not launch. In addition to this operating system that is often blocked.
Android .... I hate it. Behave like Symbian, blocking is often and going to lag. The best is iOS seems, no one can surpass Apple smartphones.

using symbian phones to trade forex is a hell lot of waste, you are never going to enjoy the full trade,
i don't think there is any applicatin right now for people that use smaller phones.
so far i agree with you that Apple Smartphones are the best platform to use for trading forex via your phone.

but am thinking... why can't some smart forex company come up with some kind of application that one can download and start trading? on symbian, java phones?
something like, ucwebs, opermini, bolts and other phone applications?

This I'm trying to tell. Symbian from Nokia is not good. It is a waste of time. As you say about Apple ... I use for 2 years this smartphones for trading and I am very happy what I found in AppStore (free or paid).
About companies that do not produce applications for smartphones forex ... I wonder the same thing. I do not understand their policies. By this they could bring the world to attract more investors and traders. It was a method of promotion.

Hmmm ... I think you can trade your mobile phone. But I think that forex would go better on IOS than on Symbian or Android. Symbian is from Nokia and I do not think it work so well. In addition I prefer IOS.
IOS gives you more space to move, it works easy. Well ... and Android would be good for it. But I personally prefer IOS.

(By the way:
no one CAN surpass Apple smartphones . For now Samsung Galaxy S II is the best smartphone

Hahahaha... You make me laugh out loud. I was talking about the type of operating system, that iOS is the best on the market right now. Not talking about mobile phones. Samsung Galaxy S II will be the best untill will appear next model of Apple smartphone, which will happen soon.
The world is in complete expansion, no one can stop to modernize. In terms of forex is better to appear as soon as possible forex applications (every OS) because ... it is now required: modernization.

Yes you are right that mobile phone has both benefits and disadvantages. One problem is in mobile phone all the functions are not same as in computer that why most of the the websites are not open in mobile and also its battery problems are a very big headache. For UWCFX ,you can get its platform for mobile phone but remenber all the disadvantages mentioned above.Although it is very flexible to trade on a mobile device .

@Scarpiomoon,
I believe what you said; whatever has an advantage will definitely have a disadvantage. Personally for me, trading with a computer with large screen is more ideal for me, though it is a little bit bulky, since it is a laptop, but at least, it is portable.
But in consideration of the use of a mobile phone, it is extremely important we know the implication of using a mobile phone, despite its major advantage of portability a mobile phone has. We shouldn't allow its few advantages lure us into our pulling our from the use of a computer to a use of a mobile phone.

I think trading on a mobile phone is not a very good idea nad that too trading on a regular basis.Although there are i phones , blackberry and certain Android phones which support the software used for meta trader.Although mobile phone trading is good sometimes specially when a person is on the move and he does not want to miss on any trade. Also one can not see all the charts and indicators and do anlysis on the mobile phone. So computer is best for this.

I see a lot of sense in what you said. Without any shadow of doubt, it is clear that the advantage of the use of a computer to the use of mobile phone for trading the forex market cannot be over-emphasized. Personally, I have not attempted trying viewing the forex market using a mobile phone, cos I cannot risk my trades for any kind of assumption, that can be triggered by the use of the mobile phone. Though, I still recognize the portability advantage the mobile phone has, but instead of me taking advantage of the portability benefit, I rather don't trade within that period.

Now this is the age of 3-G and 4-G technology and with this technology we are able to use internet in our mobile phones and the whole computer has been transferred to a small computer which can be fit into our pockets. Before, I always used 3G internet connection in my mobile phone but if we are going to use it in forex trading in the mobile trading platform for sure we will not get the best performance and might ruin our trades as well as our plans. Meanwhile, I did not yet tried 4G connection because I did not rely in the mobile phone browsing but then I see it is quite good but then still not satisfied because of the Telecom that provides slow internet connection.

As we know that there were advantages in using mobile phone in our trades such as we can notify and monitor our trades. We can access the trading platform anytime we like, we can check the charts and also use the strategies we usually used. Although, there were factors that we need to consider to have this mobile trading work and one of it is the fast internet connection.

Mobile forex trading is now becoming more and more popular among forex traders because of the ease with which the market can be assessed. On the mobile trading platform, a forex trader can get a glimpse of the overall martket conditions with the mobile device. If there were running trades that a forex trader would like to know how they are faring, then the mobile trading platforms offer that opportunity.

The fantastic thing about mobile trrading is that it saves a forex trader the energy of moving around with big laptops. Mobile trading also allows the trader to make adjustments to running trades regardless of the location or busy schedule of the trader in question.

It is not all advantageous with the mobile trading as there are a few drawbacks. First, a trader cannot make technical analysis effectively because of the small interface that most of these devices offer. Secondly, not all customized forex indicators are compatible with these platforms. In all, the advantages outpace the drawbacks.

No, in my opinion you don,t use mobile phone for trading business. In forex trading we make decision very fast. If we use mobile phone then it takes time for browsing and for this we lose our money. It is very risky for a trader if they use mobile phone. But on the other side most traders are very well satisfied with iphone and because of this they trade very well. It is best for those traders who mostly spend their time outside home. mobile phones make our life so easy. we connect with forex at any time and at any place. For best trading with mobiles we have to use 3g or 4g technology.

But one thing you should be knowing that the browsing speed is not good while you are using the facility of mobile internet as compared to using internet connecting using PC or laptop. You will also face the difficulty of analyzing the charts due to incomplete visibility. In my opinion its not advisable to use mobile internet if you have less time to spend on trading business.

Mobile phone trading is a new trend that has moved trading in the financial markets especially the forex trade to another level. Mobile trading is made possible through the use of platforms programmed to work with the mobile devices.

With the mobile trading platforms, it becomes much easier and less stressful accessing the forex market from anywhere. Whether the trader is in a cab, a plane, a bus, a ship or in the swimming pool, a quick glance at the market can always be achieved with the mobile trading devices.

Having said these, there are a few disadvantages from the mobile trading aspect of forex. It is not advisable that a trader that has a daytime job which requires full attention be distracted by the markets because of the mobile devices which can help access the market. Again, the ease with making technical analysis and the drawing of trendlines accurately, is not to the fullest with these mobile trading platforms.

In any case, the advantages outperform the disadvantages.

Let's forget about myth and face reality of trading. Mobile devices is truly an alternative way to analyze and enters into forex trading market. Speaking the truth is still a replicate of the desktop version of trading. Owing to this, i sees some indicators are not available and many of the customs indicator will be needed to be rewritten to the mobile language before function. Also for the software application to work, trader needs to get higher speculation of the specified mobile device before it can work well, this requires additional money.

@cutiek,you are right infact its more profitable and easy to use this method to trade since we can do others things and be watching our trade and also we can move or go to anywere we want while watching our trade with mobile which is a bit hard to accomplish with a p.c,mobile device is also portable so we can just put it in our pocket and move around with it.so there are many advantages of mobile trading to p.c and I can beleiv that its only those that take forex trading as their full time job that can trade comfortable with p.c and called this method a comfortable one since they will be on their home 24hrs and have no other job to do or no were to go ,so they can trade with this method easyly.

There are more than 100 apps on the itunes store and it is not so easy to select the apps for the iphone or the tablet like ipad. Most of the time brokers have their own app which allows the trader to trade, fund and do minimal tasks with the terminal. But they often lack the features which the desktop app requires but as they offer some minimal important stuff, they are quite enough.

If your broker does not offer the app then in such conditions you can use say other commercial apps that connect you to the terminal. Say like onada app (http://fxtrade.oanda.com/trade-forex/mobile/iphone/)which allows you to use any broker system with their app. You can check it out and see that it also works with the UWC and it is quite easy to use as well.

I don't use or consider blackberry phones for my usage so surely my knowledge about the apps in that phase are not so good. I have tried most of the itunes based apps on ipad and the iphone but blackberry is something I missed and I need to see.

That said, I agree that PC based apps are surely the better and more usable because they offer terminal and various features which we can;'t use on the phone. Trading from mobile is generally used by traders who use a signal service, recommendation from their broker or other such services and don't have to analyze their charts. The main advantage of mobile phone is that you can monitored your trades anywhere. Also mobile phone price is not much differ with computer and latest version indeed usualy have high price recently, because still new release edition. After some time the price of smart phone and android will be down then we can easily afford new generation mobile phone and can trade on it as fast as we does on computer.

I have used the mobile platform for 2-3 months but i must say that it was not good because it always take some time to open your position sometimes you will not get the sme speed of internet which you are getting on your PC , because on my PC i use 3G but on my Cell phone its broadband internet which is not good as compared to 3G.

Trading forex on a mobile phone or device would be a welcomed idea, but definitely it should not be the aspiration and intention of a beginner because it may be very difficult to analyze the chart due to the size. Although it is very flexible to trade on a mobile device , it is better managed by an experienced trader.

That is a correct point of view. The portability of the mobile phone will definitely make the trading on it look very attractive. But a beginner should not get carried away with it, because irrespective of how large the screen of the mobile phone will be like, it will not be that easy to study or analyze the chart, or even know the actual direction of the market.

Hence, even as one is considering the advantage, he should also have the disadvantages in mind and know how to combat it ahead of time.

trading forex through mobile phones are not as compatible as we do in the pc monitors. When we are trading in pc monitor it is much easier and convenient as well but in phones the display is much more sophisticated and this is what shows the major disadvantage of the trading in phones.Trading in phones is not selected by most of the people.

And even if they go through to trading they usually try to trade with demo accounts or they try to analyze the market rather than going for huge trades. And anyways we can only trade from iphones and android phones also only from some selected phones. So there is not much interest of the traders to trade through the mobile phones. It is neither easy and nor compatible and nor is it convenient.

trading forex through mobile phones are not as compatible as we do in the pc monitors.

I don't think it is easy to use the mobile for monitoring huge trades and even multiple trades. it is better to use the computer for multiple open trades as it is easy to get through those different open trades. But with mobile it can be a hassle to do so. If only for a single open trade it may be easy to do so. Anyway, i won't be ever comfortable to use a mobile for trading in live account. Specially i know that it involves real money. I would be more at peace if i would use a pc as i know that i would be able to monitor the trade much better.

And with a mobile phone, it can be a hassle if some one would make a text or call on your phone then it would sure be a hassle to do multitasking with your phone while you are trading to monitor your trade.

I think that trading through mobile phones are really not that good because the screen is not that big like we trade in the pc that we have.ANd there is only five to six inches of screen compared to over twenty inches of our pc and that will surely make our trading experience bad.I think that we can use it more to just see the market.

WE can just study the market through such and then we can also use it later on in our trades when we are going to trade in the forex through the help of our pc.No matter to whether you own a iphone or any type of android phone you are surely going to like to betteer use trading from pc.

Yes, of course you can trade via mobile. you can get trading platform only in smart phone and windows are available in mobile. Even android supports trading platform. But the problem is you cannot use customized indicator and you cannot use EA on mobile. You will also miss many features .

Now, to trade professionally i will not advice you to use mobile phone. Rather use laptop. Mobile are only good if you are on move or in vacation to sea beach. You see a nice move and you want to execute a take profit then mobile is good option. However you must use windows for analysis and taking decision. Using mobile you can not take good decision.

It's good to trade in mobile phone for monitoring purposes only and not as your main trading platform. For example. You can be awake 24 hours or you can't let your computer run for 24 hours. That's why you can just use your mobile phone to monitor your trading activity. In this way even if you are sleeping you can just alarm your cellphone in time of major market opening or in time of releasing news that you think its important and you can check the current status of your open position.

Or if you are going out and you need to monitor your open position or in the meeting etc. You can simply check your forex account in your mobile phone. That's why its important also to monitor your position in your mobile phone especially if you are also a mobile person. It the function of convince that is what offer in mobile phone. But to do analysis its good that you are always in your wide screen computer.

Mobile phones in trading is one of the convenient way in the market today. I have an android now and I have one broker I am using trading mobile at least from here I can monitor whether its time to close or open another order. Well the truth is I do not close my orders in mobile I close it in pc computer simply because using a computer will increase my chances getting a good connection unlike mobile Im not sure if the connection is still running. At least with this app wherever you are you will be able to see and monitor your account whatever time you want. I still have not tested the effeciency of the mobile app for uwfc broker.

To do trading through mobile you need a windows mobile or a smart phone that support java. But trading through mobile seems good but i do not prefer it. Because it has many problems which are very harmful for our trading. First one is that the charts are not so feasible and we can not use many indicators. The problem is also the small screen size which could not give us exact visual picture of market. One more problem is that sometimes signal of internet are weak on mobiles due to which we face lagging in current market price.

Indeed we can not always say that we would be able to stay connected as well with our mobile as we do with our computers. I have not tried using a mobile phone but I'm sure that computer is much better to use for trading as computers are meant for such programs while the mobile phone was not totally meant for that. It was like an added feature with our mobile phone. We can not be satisfied with our mobile for trading as much as we do with our computer. Although it's very convenient and handy to watch our open trade in our mobile, but it's not convenient to actually do something more than that. It's not convenient to open or close a trade using our mobile phone.

I don't think so. in case of the mobile trading. all that you need is capital and skill to use the app or the terminal service which is made for the mobile or the tablet interface. that is all you don't need anything special. also it is snot much of hassle if you know how to trade good in the terminal on the pc.

I do agree about the hassle point however because small screen makes hard to read and take action and also the small screen has negative impact on our thinking. it increases more desperation which is not good for our forex trading.

It is Possible on mobile. Most of the Apps works On HTC mobiles. There are Also Good apps for other mobiles also. Premium Applications start from 1$. It is much difficult to trade via Opera Mini. Because This browser Causes Cache Problem. If you have an android, BlackBerry, Samsung Galaxy Then there are Better Apps than Opera Mini & UC browser. Don't do Forex ON 2G. Prefer 3g Or later For Forex Trading.
If you are Working In low Connectivity areas then you must not Use Forex on Cellphone. Otherwise it will lead you to losses. Some apps are traps. Beware of Phishing.

@ryuken that is partly true its not possible to use mobile phone to get the complete analysis in forex trading because certainly some instrument will be missing not every thing will be apear on the chart and this can lead to improper analysis sometime for me am using mobile to trade sometime thou am having problem now with my mobile platform which I will correct soon ,I do analysis and fucast everything about my trade with a P.C then placed my order if am going to visit a freind or leave the front of my p.c i will go with my phone and use it only to monitor my trade .
Mobile can also be good for student since they can do with it in the school premises when the lecturers are not aroun.

I'm just confuse what you guys means by huge trades. Is it in term of lot size? meaning trading bigger lot size or in term of how many open position you have?
Right now I have 25 buy positions and 12 sell positions and its eating my laptop screen. I don't know what its going to be look like if I'm going to trade in mobile but one thing I'm sure in my experience in using my niece cellphone ( I forgot the brand and the model). You can zoom in the browsers. So I guess even with multiple positions you can still check one by one by just zooming in. But same time I really don't recommend mobile trading unless its for monitoring purposes only. Its still best you use your computer to trade.

Right now theirs some limitations in trading in mobile as not all features you can put your in mobile phone. As first the memory is not as good as trading in computer, secondly EA and customize indicators. You will have this comforts in computers while in mobile you have limited access to this customize features. That's why I advice that if you want to use mobile just use it as monitoring role and not as main trading tool.

Mobile trading are just optimized for touch screen phones like Iphone. Even though the iphone has a good touch response, the small screen would indeed make it hard sometimes to click the right button. Maybe it can still be easy but it is not that as easy as what we do in our computer. It can be indeed a hassle as it would take more time to click buttons as it would normally do when we do it on our computers. So we would end up spending more time doing some simple things and so we get to spend more energy to do some things. So indeed this would add some pressure to us as we lose more time because we get to do things slower here.

But if you don't do that always, just do it sometimes then i think it is just okay. But trading most of the time using our mobile can be tiring indeed. Instead getting tired of using the mobile trading, better trade more often in your computer so you can save more time and energy and focus more in your trade.

I think that when trading forex trading through mobile phone we need to become really aware because if we are not aware then we are going to lose.A trader has to first understand the platform with which he is going to trade properly otherwise the chances for him to gain can be really thin.A trader has to first of all understand the trades properly if he wants to succeed and if h is unable to do so then he is going to lose.

trading forex trading through mobile phone means that the trader is going to have to risk the chances of him to gain.Because if he has no experience of trading through such meas then there are high chances that he will not understand how to trade and then eventually lose.

Hello @T2t yes it is very possible to trade from our mobile phone you should make enquiries from your forex brokers to know whether or not they have a platform that supports your mobile device.

Forex brokers now have platforms for phones such as blackberry, Iphones, PDA, smartphones that supports forex trading. All you need to do is to download the application software from your forex broker's site, unzip it and send it to your mobile device, run the application to install it on your mobile device then sign in to start trading with your mobile device.

I just want to know if it is really possible to start trading forex with your mobile phone, is there anyone expert here who something about it?
or is there anyone in here who trade with his or her mobile phone? i will like to know and also i would like to know if UWCFX offer this through their platform.

How about tablet? I never have one and I don't know if I'm interested to have one. I really don't know what is the advantage of having a tablet since I'm only at my home for the last six years. Unless I have some physical business that I need tablet to used I don't see any importance of it. But same time. I'm dreaming big also in forex trading and even I'm only at home if I earn like 1,000 dollars a month in forex trading I also want to have my own mobile phone that I can use to trade forex. But I prefer tablet. I'm just wondering if tablet is also a mobile phone? or just an organizer? Because I never have held one tablet before.

Also I'm planning to open a smart bro (usb internet) and I see a plan that is some how cheap but also give free tablet. I think the model of that tablet is galaxy and its cost like 7,000 pesos or roughly about 175 dollars if I'm going to buy it in open market. My problem is that what if if I take that plan and found out later that I can't trade in that tablet then I just wasted my money.

I think mobile trading hold some good important role because when using this device to trade you can travel to anywere you want and still have your trade monitored.
As for the touch screen phone I think they are the best since all we needed is just a touch of our finger and our quaries have to be submitted and excecuted but I still think that mobile should be use for trade monitoring and control but not for analysis and forcast.
Am planing to get myself a tablet any moment from and see if I will convineince with this than mobile phone.

Well mobile can be good for trading as it allows for mobility any time. With mobile phone, we can trade forex on the go, put forex in our pocket...lol Personally, I will not prefer trading with mobile phones because there are some limitations to what our mobile devices such as phones can do. If I'm travelling any time, what I will go with is my Laptop or I will not trade during such time to avoid trouble trade. Then when I return from the trip, I can continue with my trade. I can only keep myself updated on forums with my mobile phone but not trading with it.

Yes mobile phones can be used for trading and there are number of smart phones or tabs out there which will support the trading terminal. Almost all the brokers provide the trading terminal which is supported by the phones.

For people who are always traveling, for them it is the best thing to do that they can access through their mobile phones itself, thus trading has become even more easier for such people. I also want to try this feature so that i can have a control on my open position and then close the trades when it comes in profit. I would say that the more comfortable one would be still my laptop for me. :)

I do believe @indieover that a lot more people would prefer to actually trade from a computer than a mobile. Of course the mobile does present a lot of benefits to the trader especially if you are not able to gain access to your computer with a much more stable network connection and larger screen of course.

Its rings even more true that one could find it convenient to trade from the mobile because as handset capabilities do improve there are features to make it easy to work from here. But yes, the issue of internet connectivity might be a concern because you might be in areas where there is not enough signal for you to work smoothly from the mobile so that will post problems for the trader.

It's very possible to trade with mobilephone, some brokers provide metatrader which is supported for smartphone. From my knowledges, mt4 for mobilephone are almost same with mt4 which is used in PC or Laptop but there are some indicators which couldn't be applied in smartphone. Usually, it was custom indicators which couldn't be used. For default indicators, I think it's possible to be used in any smartphone so it's no need to be afraid of. With mobilephone, we can monitor the movement of price in the market anywhere although we did another job.

The possibility to these days trade with mobile phones and other mobile devices is one of the best things that have come the way of forex traders! Already there is a study that have linked the increase in profitability from a survey taken of trader with a broker based in the U.S. to the emergence of mobile trading devices! The devices opened the door for far more traders to keep pace with any open position they may have as well as follow news release to the minute wherever they happen to be and that is quite unprecedented.
Charting with mobile phone may not meet expectations, but the opportunity to trade with mobile devices was not meant to be a substitute for the use PCs, they are rather there to compliment each other.

Yes I agree with you. It could be difficult and dangerous trading the forex market on mobile phone. Though, it has its benefits or advantages. Like in terms of portability, convenience, flexibility, etc. But when it comes to accuracy in taking trading decisions, then it completely falls out of place.

For me, the use of a personal computer is always the best, since the trader is able to view the market using any form of trading indicators to analyze the the direction of the market. Though, bulky, but it gives a trader a reliable trader platform.

All I do is just for me to keep on monitoring my trade using mobile and when it comes to real trading what I do is to open my laptop and which is very convinience to me and start up my trade with the right trading tool with this I always fine it comfortable to get any kind of trading system I wanted.

Most of the brokers that I came across have that feature and they are distributing the app for their mobile version of the trading server. Most of the broker dependent apps are only meant to connect to the respective server and you can't them to any other broker from the same. In such case it is better to buy a generic version of the app which can let you connect to other broker servers too.

I have used the MT4 app and it doesn't look the same on both the versions. It has some difference like the resolution and the limited information on the mobile app. So for the laptop or desktop the version is more feature rich compared to the mobile. Because due to limited space there is hardly anything you can do with mobile.

Theirs really an advantage if we going to trade using our computer or laptop than our mobile phone but same time I don't think its accurate to say that its difficult and dangerous to trade in mobile phone. It's difficult to trade with mobilephone but I don't think if it was dangerous because the risk will be same when we used same money management and risk management strategy. It will be harder to create good decision because we could only use several indicators (as I know only default indicators and some custom indicators) which is supported in metatrader which is used in mobilephone. And there is no EA which could be run in mobilephone which I know so far. So, it's more flexible to trade with PC or Laptop for beginners.

I think its not really different when it comes of implementation of our strategy. What we are looking deeper is their interface. Since, we know its harder to control or manage our trades if we have difficulty with the interface of the trading platform. Just like how much time it will consume to make a trade or the connection of the mobile browsing enough to execute our trades fast. We know different factors that affect our trades mostly in the trading platform, so we need to consider which is better to have our trading since it can be also the reason of failure if ever we did not able to use mobile trading properly.

I agree with that, there is nothing dangerous about trading using the mobile phone since the mobile platform and the computer platform are offering the real time trading and the same options and each analysis done on both platform is the same.
However, there could be a connection problem in this mobile and you're facing some problems in your trade and that's where comes the danger of using it since you wouldn't trade in the same time (some minutes delay) as in the market and will definitely fatal for the trader if the market become suddently highly volatile or miss a big opportunity to gain some precious pips.

Trading with the mobile phone is really very useful for the traders who are very much occupied with their routine work and also for the traders who are continuously traveling.

We can stay updated regarding the currency quotes on mobile itself, thus easy access to the internet. And on emergency we can also close the existing open trade and suppose we find the best entry level then we can simply log in from the mobile phone and open a trade. Its always advantageous to use mobile phone but i would say that comfort is for sure in laptop only.

Yes, it is not quite different to implement our strategy in PC/Laptop and mobilephone when we used default indicators only. But it will be different when we used custom indicators, I don't know if mt4 in mobilephone could support custom indicators now. As long as there is good money management and there is good risk management, it's not big deal to trade with mobilephone or PC/Laptop but for me personally, I am more comfortable to trade with Laptop/PC so I never trade while I'm not active with my PC or Laptop.

Forex trading on the mobile really has its advantages if you cannot gain access to your computer in order to do trading from there. This is especially since most of the functionalities that are on PC are also available on the mobile albeit not as convenient to use.

I am just wondering about the fact that you can trade from the mobile when you are occupied or when you are continuously travelling. What makes me wonder much is the state of mind that you would be in and whether you would be able to do proper analysis and decision-making that is good enough to get you profitable trades since there would be more distractions here than if you were at home. I suppose that maybe some members may handle it differently than others.

Technology really is making things possible mate. 10 years ago who would have though that we could trade through our phones? I'd say that platforms being available to our mobile phone is such a huge step towards making trading a universal job. Everyone can trade now anytime and anywhere.

With regards to your question about how will we be able to do analysis through our phones, I think that it depends on the kind of smartphone you have.If you have a high-end smartphone with a wide screen then the experience will be nearly smooth as to out PC.

There are trading platforms for cellphones to carry out trading. And i guess they are only for Android and iOS. Cellphones of Nokia brand have not yet met with it. And i would really not prefer you doing trade on cellphone for some reasons. Firstly, the screen is not so big as compared to PC or a laptop. Secondly, it is not as suitable as trading on a personal computer. The market charts are bigger out there. But the choice is all yours. You can do trading on cellphone if you are away from your home or any reason.

Yes, it is difficult especially with touch interface tablets and phones. other times when you get on the desktop you can do things much more effectively. I think if we consider the desktop and regular laptop usage for the forex trading, we know how good it can be for our usage. There are some other ways which can we think of for mobile, like watching the market while we are using the mobile, which is good thing.

I agree that there is no EA for the mobbile version of forex apps. also the functions that you get with these mobiles apps are quite limited. you don't get to use much of the features for the mobile. I guess it all works out for you if you consider the trading on the move or just to watch the market.

I just want to know if it is really possible to
start trading forex with your mobile
phone, is there anyone expert here who
something about it?
or is there anyone in here who trade with
his or her mobile phone? i will like to
know and also i would like to know if
UWCFX offer this through their platform.

It is possible to trade in mobile phones today equipped with high end technology at least your phone is android or symbian phone there are brokers who are giving applications from this one. Just take note that it requires a lot faster internet connection so that there would no problem in issuing and closing an order of your account its better that a trader may first test it in demo accountd if the execution is smooth jusy like you are using metatrader platforms in pc. Just make sure to use wifi connections not 3g since in sim connection there are disconnections it will be bad on your trade if there are mistakes and a lot of requotes because of the lousy connection.

@T2t Would you like to disclose what type of mobile you are using, and yes, you can trade on your mobile also but it would be very difficult to you to determine any good decisions from your mobile's small screen, you can't see anything perfectly in your mobile and i think it is advisable to use Personal Computers to start Forex Trading.

And Yes, there are many experts already who trade in their mobile phones and uwcfx is also support mobile platform so you can easily do in your mobile but make sure first that you have big screen mobile like touch phones so it would be easier for you to determine any kind of decisions.

Well, i am not an forex expert and never try forex before. But in near future, when i will participate in forex trading. I will surely use mobile phone, because i can't set at one place too long, and you can do trade with mobile phone while walking...;)

In my Opinion, there is no danger in trading with mobile phone. It could be very useful in this way that you will be online every time and every where if you are miles away from your PC/laptop.

Mobile phone screen is very small as compare to PC/Laptop and its relatively difficult to analyse market trends and strategy. Its the only drawback of mobile phone..

Indeed not all mobile phones are good for mobile trading. And that's why, more traders prefer to trade using their computer. I still want to see how it will look like on a tablet though as I don't have a touchscreen mobile for now. But most broker don't support all kind of mobile phones and tablets.

So it's just unfortunate also that I would not be able to try it on my mobile world I can make comparison myself. But I am still contented trading using my computer. And I don't think using a mobile would make me more motivated to keep on trading I don't think that mobile trading would give me much better experience.

Can I butt in? Before we concentrate on what type of mobile phone that we can use. Its better that we focus first on what broker site we want to use. In this way we can check what mobile platform its offer and what mobile phones its compatible with.
So its always important that the phone we going to buy is compatible to the broker sites that we are using.

Now about the usage of mobile trading. Me I like to do mobile trading but not as main trading tool but as back up tool. For example. I do all my research and analysis in my laptop. As I trade long term I usually do technical and fundamental analysis during sunday and monday morning. And the rest of my analysis is already good for whole week. But of course I also do analysis morning and evening each day but that just for correcting purposes.

In short I can trade using my mobile phone after I do my analysis and since in our country we can have unlimited internet for just 25 dollars. If I'm expecting to earn 300 dollars a month in forex trading then what 25 dollars unlimited internet access in your mobile phone right?

@budado I am agreed with with you that it is necessary first to determine what broker's site we want to use for trading and then we should go on the site and we should look the platform and if we found platform for mobiles so then we should take our decision to buy any type of mobile which is compatible with broker's platform also...

In my country, If i want to get full or unlimited internet on my mobile phone so i have to pay $30/month but the speed will not be better than Computer but if i want to get unlimited internet for my computer so it will cost me only $15/month so i think Personal Computer is best for trading purposes.

For me i don`t have a mobile phone that i can use to trade Forex and i never use mobile phone to trade Forex, because i don`t have the supported phone I only have local phone, which is Nokia which can not be use to trade Forex cause is not powerful enough and it screen is not that wide, is only good at web browser and can not be use to trade.

Because before we can trade Forex we need to install the trading platform, which Nokia phone did not support, So mobile phone that are recommended to trade Forex are phone that have wide screen phone that can install the trading platform, example blackberry, and I phone those are the powerful phone that can be use to trade Forex.

Thing about mobile trading is that there are plenty of variables to consider like say - bandwidth, broker and screensize. The bandwidth issue is very hard to solve because you have to be very realistic about it before trading using any of those tools. I think there are some cases where bandwidth is low and GPRS and even 3G can't be that fast or say cheap. So we usually avoid using it for trading because it eats lots of bandwidth.

Another thing is that broker support. not all brokers are good at the mobile trading and there are always some bugs and issues there which are hopefully solved but at very low rate. Screensize is one more issue to manage and we have to consider that mobile phones need to be very good with what they have on their touch based screens.

I heard in the news that Nokia is going to release a smart phone using Microsoft technology. I'm just wondering if this cellphone. ( I forgot the model) if its going to be suitable for forex trading also. I guess its all going to depends on the broker site that we are using if they going to create a platform that is suitable for Nokia or if theirs already available platform for Nokia users.

The reason why I'm pointing this out is that I'm thinking of buying new cellphone and I want to buy this Nokia phone if the price is right. But same time I'm thinking if I can't use it to trade then its better that I will going to buy Apple or Samsung instead o Nokia. At least its tested and proven.

The problem with nokia is that the old operating system of the nokia is going down and nobody is going to develop for the nokia. I see that they are now going after the MS for OS and other things. So surely if the app is on the MS then we can able to use it. as of now there are not many apps for the nokia lumia. I mean there is not even the category for the forex trading. That means we can't do the trading using the nokia.

You do have a chance with say android and the iphone because most of the popular mobile distribution companies and the brokers are going to target these two platform as they are used a lot of time. I guess using android apps from the brokers is much better choice for the traders who wish to use the apps on their mobile besides android phones are cheap too.

Metatrader for mobiles allow mobile trading, and support only smart mobile devices like smart phones and tablets. The smart phones principally supported are the Android, the Iphone, Windows phone, Blackberry used to be supported. There are system requirements, but usually new models of these phones can support it.

Now to the effectiveness of these platforms, i would say they can come in handy in being aware of what is happening in the market but not altogether that great for full trading. Functionality are not at par at all with the PC variants and that is a big factor to consider when placing your money on the line.

Well, you can get a mini laptop also if you want to trade during travelling and In Forex, you don't have to spend too much time for profits if you traded by watching the current situations and if you determined a best decision and then you will get profits with your trades in less time, I usually make 1-2 hour trades and sometimes i make 30 minutes trades also.

We are talking about comfort, it is not comfortable in mobile to trade in because of small screen and because of low speed of internet, A mobile can't afford high pressures on it. I always prefer my mini Laptop to do any things including posting activities and other writing jobs...

I don't think that with mobile, a newbie could trade with comfortable, I love this feature that Forex allows trading with mobile also but i am not interested to work with mobile because i have eye problems also and doctor told me to don't use mobile for long time..

Yeah, Trading with laptops is a good and excellent way to trade because you can go anywhere with Laptop and if you are travelling so i also do recommended that Laptop is a good option to use, Trading platforms will also worked perfectly in Laptops and Computers, I have both things, Desktop Computer and Laptop also but I love to use my Laptop for any online work.

If you bought Laptop so it would be useful for you in every online work type like posting activities, writing articles and blog posting as well. I am also advised to my friends to keep using Personal Computer for trading if you have and if you are newbie so don't consider to start trading mobile phone if you hereto already have supported mobile to Install Platform.

@prince You are right, Using laptop is much better than using the mobile phone to trading because a trader will precipitate in confusions in Mobile if he is trading with mobile phone because the screen is much small than laptops and it is not easy to concentrate on one thing, We have much big eye ball and the screen of the mobile would be much small than laptops so it would also be harder to concentrate on one thing but yes, you can concentrate on the trading chard seriously because it will open in full screen and in full size so you will not face any difficulties while viewing the chart window.

Well, As about me so my parents didn't allow me to join any outdoor jobs so that's why i am doing online jobs for yet only and i am managing these online jobs with my hard studies, I was really happy and excited when i was received the payment from Fxfred and when i read encouraging words of nsawork. Indeed for newbies, it is not a good idea to trade with a mobile as they may not be able to analyze their trade well with the small screen of the mobile. I think only the good traders should use the mobile to analyze or monitor their open trade. But for newbies since they need to spend a lot of time to learn more in forex, so they should use their laptop so that they can monitor their open trade and do some learning also. I think there are some limitations doing some trading using the mobile phone.

Sometimes it is not just the convenience of having small gadget to monitor our trade, but where you would be able to trade better. I think there is no replacement with the use of the computer with trading. And with computer you don't have to worry about the compatibility in downloading the trading platform unlike in mobile you have the problem or check the compatibility of the trading platform with your mobile.

Agreed with you @indie. It is not advisable to use Mobile to trade if trader is a newbie and mobile also should not be used to open any deals, Mobile is perfect for just monitoring purpose only that whats going on with you open trade and i am agree with you that only expert traders should use mobile phone if needed but i am also against on using mobile phone for expert trader because Hereto expert traders can done some mistakes also because they are also human and it is the nature of human to do mistakes in life and in all works. If you are trading with mobile, so you can't do any kind of work in back of your mobile but In computer or laptop, you would be able to maintain your posting activities or other activities as well so it is the disadvantage for Trading with mobile and it is the advantage for Trading with Computers or Laptops.

I don't think there is any issue of confusion on mobile based trading. If you have ever checked the interface of the mobile apps you will find that they have removed many clutter and only kept the essential stuff with the forex. I doubt if they can do much with the limited data like that because it is not meant for the newbies and they will have all sort of confusion with the mobile interface and the trading.

If the person is newbie then it does help if they stick with the desktop interface until they get used to it. I don't think mobile interface trading should be done because there is no need to be so desperate. People need to understand that mobile or desktop, it is the profit that matters. rest of the other stuff is just based on comfort zone.

Well in terms of newbie, it will be very hard to start up their trade with mobile phones as it is programmed to summarize pages in a small and durable size. I havent seen anyone trading with mobile but i guess thats a great feature for good traders who dont need a laptop or PC at a particular time to place order.
The fact is that mobile phones are convenient and can serve us anytime. It really a great thing that some mobile phones are capable of trading and this can save us alot of time.

Yes, in terms of familiarization its a difficult way to start with mobile trading platform. It's recommended to check it first in a PC to look for the different buttons, functions and features. What we are looking also will be the convenience in trading and we ask, can we open a position fast or comfortably, can we view the market chart well and can analyze it well. Its really a big difference from PC to mobile view. From my opinion, mobile trading platform is a way to monitor our trades whenever we are out or in vacation but not good for making analysis.

I'm just curious. Is mobile platform has its own account and server? Is it a stand alone? Or I can open any account in my mobile? Because I notice that we can't open our account even if we are using the same platform in our computer if we chance the platform server so I'm just wondering if the that is the same in mobile platform.
Because if the account in mobile is only for mobile trading then I don't see any reason why I will going to trade in mobile. But if I can open my account in mobile and also in my computer without any problem with server then I guess its advisable.

The reason why I'm asking this and I guess you read also in my previous post in other threads that I'm planning to buy mobile phone so that I can trade in mobile phone if I'm out of the house. But what the use if I can't open my regular account in my mobile phone right?

No.No.NO you are getting it wrong the account you open on your computer or pc can still function in your mobile device all you need to do is for you to download the trading plateform for mobile on your mobile device and try login into it and your account detail will appear just like a computer then you can commence your trading.

just like what normally happen to your demo account if you have a demo account and login your trader password and username you will still be able to access your account and trade with it its only that the mobile trading is somehow limit in terms of certain features in the trading chart thou its still helpful and the major instrument can still be access

Window phones are very capable of trading and thats great though they are very costly here in Nigeria but at least it can save time as we can trade with our mobile at any given time of the day we will like to trade. What I need now is a mobile phone that accept mobile platform. I still in the saving money mode. But if my earnings in forex going to reach 500 dollars a month then I guess I can buy my first mobile phone that I can use to download mobile platform and its about time also that I buy a new cellphone as my cellphone is already five years old.

I just done some research and I notice that only mt4 accounts is good for mobile form platform. If you have an account mt5 and in other platform you can't open it in mobile phone. I don't know if I understand it correctly. But if that is the case then I guess if I use mobile platform then I can't use my mt5 account to trade in mobile phone yet?

Though the app for the forex and the trading account both accept the same login. It does make sense for us to know that both the terminals have different interface. There seems to be no similarity between the trading on the PC terminal and the terminal that we use on the mobile phone. I don't think that there is much to understand in case of the mobile app because if you have traded before on PC then app seems to be easy as well.

However, only thing we do need in case of the mobile app is one good 3G or 4G connection. I don't think we can have the connection immediately. We do have some issues compared to the PC because on the go trading has different effect on the psychology part. As well as the limitations on the analysis part as well because app is not that informative on that part.

The PC is very fast and reliable as we can help us to learn very fast, minimize and do other things. So i think professional traders can equally go for the mobile device when ever they need a simple aid to place orders in forex trades.

I definitely agree that we can use the mobile anywhere as it is handy to check our open trade. But the problem is that we have to have connection anywhere we go. That means monthly data and also the 3G connection in my country is so slow it is not worth it. So i would have to look for wifi hotspot if i want to enjoy good connection. So i may end up using the mobile phone at home only with my wifi at home. So at home i have a laptop so i will still prefer to use a laptop.

For me it is kind of boring to use the mobile phone now. I am back to using the laptop for trading as i enjoy the bigger screen. Others may enjoy unlimited connection wherever they go with their mobile phone. Then it is a good choice for them. But for me the laptop is still the best choice.

Trading with mobile makes it easy for traders, though its obvious that not all features are expected perhaps the most important features are there, such mobile like android phone like samsung is the best in trading.
Here in my country some traders do make use of it as the 3G network here is even far more faster and speedy that that of the computer, the problem here is that data cost,i mean monthly internet bill is higher and as a forex trader one ought to have a unlimited plan.

Yeah most of the time it is available for iphone and even ipad tablets and to some android phones. Not all android phones are supported. So there is indeed limitations on having it in our mobile. There is no assurance that our phone can support it. But i am not going to buy a mobile phone just for that purpose. As i am very much happy already with using my laptop.

I have not see or read too many traders who have experienced using their mobile phone for trading. I am sure it is not that easy to trade on your mobile phone as it is hard to use the touchscreen for that. And i don't want to commit a mistake in my trading just because the touchscreen was not able to detect where my fingers actually touch on the screen.

Most people are doing forex trading part time and I feel it is important to be able to let people view their trade when they are working and the best way it seem is using the mobile phone as it seem almost everyone has a smart phone these days and it does make it easy for people to do forex trading on the go.

The problem I view with United World Capital FX is that you are not able to download directly from Android market, At least when I search I am not able to find it, does anyone have the same issue too? I know you can download from the website but you need extra steps to install.

I also have an Android Tab.. and I found it one of the best companion to trade in forex.. because the 7 inch screen size is fit for analysis a single chart.. you can visit any website like a pc.. and also the application also runs well in this operating system.. If you are a serious forex trader you will have soon realized that there are times in your busy life when you simply can”t be in front of your computer.
The time has definitely come when the software and hardware for trading forex on mobile phones is good enough.

If you are interested in forex trading but do not have time to sit by your computer to learn it, why not install one of the mobile phone trading platforms for the forex market and make use of your time when commuting to work, during lunch breaks or why not in front of the TV in your sofa?

or is there anyone in here who trade with his or her mobile phone? i will like to know and also i would like to know if UWCFX offer this through their platform.
It is really a wonderful facility for traders to trade from mobile phone. No matter if a trader can,t do analysis on the mobile phone or he can,t execute new trades with proper analysis but it can be used to watch the executed trades and you have not sit in front of computer screen to watch your open trades. I have the designs to buy a good mobile that can be used in trading but so far i am not sure about the models of mobile phone that can be utilized for this purpose.

Yes PC and the laptop screens are way better compared to the tablet because typing on the tablet or say touch is not a good way to manage the things in forex. Also the PC or say laptop offers far more features compared to the tablet and I guess that is how we can consider if we are serious about the trading and want to use the screen more effectively to keep tab off the forex trading market. While using the tablet it becomes even harder to use the trader terminal.

In case of the professional or even part time trader, only benefit the mobile forex app or say tablet forex app is going to offer is portability. Laptop does carry weight and you see it does have it's limitation with the screen size and the usage on the tablet or say phone. That is why I personally think people should be thinking about laptop or PC if they are serious.

Well its not hard to trust mobile in trading especially if you have money in your account. Trading in mobile is one of the convenient way for you to earn money in a different way even if you are out of your pc or laptop you still stay connected on the internet by using mobile phones just make sure that there is a 3g connection in your area most preferable if there is H signal above your phone. Do not just connect with a G connection it only gives you 1-5 kbps speed and make sure that the application that you have downloaded is from the site of the broker not on a google site there are a lot of hackers who are making apps today and sniff only passwords just make sure to maintain security at all the time. Mobile trading is not bad as long as you know how you would handle or to trade from there it is way different from using metatrader some of the platforms just do not give charts so you still need to go to sites that gives charts from different currency pairs like forexfactory.

Given a choice I think most people would rather sit in front of a computer to do their forex trading, however in the fast pace world not many people would have access to their computer and internet connection. I would have love to be able to carry a laptop with internet connect where ever I go. However it is too bulky to carry around, so the next best thing I think would be using your smart phone with a data plan. I think it might not be the same but I think we are smart and we can get use to it and in time we would find it easy too. Give it a chance and you might find it eventually be trading even on the go.

I think it was same to look on metatrader in PC and metatrader in mobilephone when we want to monitor the movement of price only but I prefer to use PC when I made analysis with some indicators as help. Today, I tried to learn about candlestick pattern so I can make analysis easily even if I used mobilephone because I don't need special tools, it's only basic tools like candlestick and time frame to look it.

I think mobilephone trading is important for people who are mobile too in their activity but they want to keep monitor their trading while doing another thing. They can be keep in touch when there is high impact news while they are doing another job.

Same thing. If you really serious in forex trading then why do you need to go to work? or trade while watching tv? Is that serious forex trader for you?
Because if you really are serious you don't need to work anymore. You will going to dedicate your time and effort in trading in forex and not find or go to work. And since you are working its a clear sign that forex trading is just secondary and not a priority and that mean your not serious at all.

Secondly. Watch tv? Come on. You prefer to have a big screen watching tv? while you are using your small screen cellphone to trade? I guess you are more serious in watching tv than trading.

A serious traders will always dedicate its time and effort trading and learning forex trading and the best way to do that is via computer and not via mobile phone. Mobile phone are only good as back up.

As i know there are no of mobile trading software's and app available online in net but using them may not give you good experience of trading . using The mobile trading i think it will be best for watching the live trading statics but it will not give you a very good experience of trading like market analysis etc. so i think it is preferable to trade on our notebooks or Pc . and in my opinion use the official mobile trading software's are much preferable than other un-official software's . Any ways the present trading brokers are giving you an opportunity to trade through mobiles and make your more comfortable with it and i think it is also helping many of the people who are our with work and cannot carry there laptops with them can also have the chance to trade from where there are .

Seriously i don't get the point in all this little arguement right here. A serious trader is a trader who as much as is successful is also mindful of his/her social life. Serious does not really mean, anti-social. So, even though trading on your sofa with your movile while in front of your TV is awkward enpugh, i don't mind having to be in touch with the market during a lunch break or in a commuter.

As profitbuzz said, if everyone did have his/her way we would always like to have our laptops with us wherever we go. But it ain't that easy in today's world, so what is the solution? It is a less bulky device tacked in your pocket with the ability to stay live with you market and let you keep track of all that is happening, from news alerts to receiving signals to light analysis and even entering or closing a position. A serious trader who couldn't always be by his/her PC would definitely buy into this idea.

Yes dear it is possible to use mobile in forex trading. Android phones, nokia and other kind of phone you can use as long as you have internet connection. Im using mobile so this is true that you can do trade thru mobile but im not happy using mobiles because i face some problem like wrong pressing, loss of connections, etc.. and the small screen is not good for trading because you can see it more clearly. In terms of net connection mobiles disadvantages is even you have good internet connection there's is a time that connection will fail. And the mobile sometimes due to net it hung and this is one problem in mobile trading. Mobiles with internet is easily drain the battery or easily low battery so in the time of trading there's a time that i will loss your trade. Its good if you are not always use this only if you don't have any option or if you are outside your home and you still want to do trade but i advice to use computers and laptap for trading.

It is very possible using mobile phone to trade, but i have some reasons why i will not use mobile phone to trade, because it is not good as pc no matter the quality of that phone, it will not be some times fast, the typing of the phone button will not be as fast that of computer, this are the reason why i will not advice any one to base of mobile trading.
If we want a reliable Forex trading what we need is a computer, and not mobile phone, but if some still want the mobile trading, the mobile phone that i think is right for this Forex trading are, black berry, I phone and android phone, this are the type of phone we need to use to trade Forex.

Nokia is allowed? What model and what broker site has a mobile platform for nokia? I though mobile phone is only good for android phones but I don't know its also support other mobile phones that is not andriod. Anyway if that is the case then its good that we can trade in forex using other mobile phone. At least I will not going to think to buy andriod phone. Because I really want to have a cellphone in which I can trade in my mobile phone also. I want to earn and make money in here.

So far I only earn about 25 to 50 dollars a month in forex trading. But my target is to earn 1,000 dollars a month. And once I achieve that goal I will going to reward myself by buying a new cellphone that I can also use to trade online.

It can be very very important to some people, why because they travel all time so they can`t be caring their computer along any where they go, so mobile phone can be very important for those kind of people, because they will need it to perform their work in most time when they are not with this computer.

For me i most say mobile phone is not that important to me that i have to buy one that can install one of the trading platform, why am i saying this is because i do not travel all time, i stay at home all time, so there is no place that i will travel that i will need mobile phone to perform my work. so since i did not move or travel like other, it is not important for me.

You should specify your phone name and model number. However, you can trade on Forex by using mobile phones. But, not for every mobile phone. You can use Forex trading by smart phones. You also use Forex in windows mobile phones. These phones are able to open webpage just like a computer or laptop. Android and iPhones also provide some apps to trading Forex. But most of them are not free apps. So, you need to buy the apps to use Forex trading in your mobile phone.

Yes, mobile trading is very important for traders who don't have quite much time to stay in front of chart. It's good for traders who are mobile in their work and they are trading as part-time job. But, it's not all brokers which provide platform for trading with mobilephone. It's better to learn how to trade well using PC first to know when is the right timing.

It's not all traders who like to trade with mobilephone because some traders prefer to use custom indicators which is not supported by mobilephone platform. If me, I prefer to use laptop or PC for trading than I used mobilephone.

I prefer also using pc or laptop but I guess its more expensive nowadays to buy that kind of gadget. In my opinion if I have a tablet it way better because I can go to any place I want with it even if you are in the mall.

The more portable your gadget the better it is for you to trade at least you should make sure that the gadget you are using is compatible to the software app that the broker is offering. There are tons of brokers in the market that gives app for trading although you only see a simple interface you can always trade by viewing charts in websites, by the time you see that its better to enter the market you should open an order in the app and that's it you do not need to spend more time. This only applies if you are a type of day trader who prefers trading naked.

I don't think that the more portable the gadget is the better. I have actually tried to download this trading platform by this one broker because it is compatible for my tablet i am using. And i have read a message that there are many features that is not available on the tablet and mobile that is available on the pc. So i just downloaded anyway to see.

In fact, i can not draw a line and I can't put the resistance level and other things. So it is a very big limitations. Although i can't make an order, but it would limit my applications of my skills if i would be able to put on lines on the chart. But anyway, it is still a good way to follow my the latest movement of the chart but i will not use it to practice even in demo account since i don't think it is going to help me learn well how to trade.

From my knowledge of the mobile technology industry, Tablets with good specs to handle trading comfortably are almost at the same price with a laptop, so i do not get the reason behind how expensive a laptop or PC is when compared with a tablet. You should know better.

However, portability is impressive, but simply is not the ideal. We could say, it makes more sense to be able to place a trade when you went out on a walk with your friend and was relaxing in a park, when there happened to be a major market burst that was sailing in pips, than to wait before you got home to your PC. On the other hand we could also pick out a disadvantage and that is the fact, that people might not be able to have quality time for themselves. Much like what 7-5 jobs in modern day family has done to communal living.

Specs is the issue and so do the software usage. the table that gives you the apps for the mobile trading is not like the one that you use on the PC or laptop. tablets have different features like say touch and the scroll. so there is a difference for the MT5 as well. if you check those apps then you know how hard it will be even to check the two different pairs and still manage to figure out how to get back to the place where you switched from in the MT5.

This is the reason official MT5 that works with the desktop is not there with the mobile app. And the mobile app is separate there and we have to see that it uses touch display for the usage so you know it has many features made just for the tabs. So price comparison is not much but forex trading wise there is a lot of difference over there for sure.

Well, frankly speaking, although I haven't ever traded from mobile, though I also use blackberry, but, i believe and from what I got from other views, I think that mobile phones can't handle these big softwares.

We might need a very big processor of something like 2GHZ of mobile phone, like IPHONE, to handle it. IPAD is the best second choice.

But IPHONE's are very costly, and not everyone can afford it.

So, there might be some difficulty in running the software apps.

I'm planning to by smartphone or tablet as a gift for myself next year. I'm thinking that in six months I can earn 1,000 dollars and I'm planning to reward myself by buying either smartphone or tablet. But I'm not planning to use it as my main way of doing forex trading. Its going to be my back up in case I need to be mobile and since by that time after six months I guess I can say I have 3,000 dollars trading capital already and some how that's a big amount not to monitor. My main concern and problem when I have big capital is how to monitor my open position to the point that I will not going to get MC or incur big loses.

Right now I going to put all of my trust in myself in forex trading. I'm now in expansion mode and I hope that in six months I can increase my capital with the help of my creditcard and with my earnings in ptp posting also. but still until now I'm still undecided if I'm going to buy tablet or smartphone. Budget is 40,000 pesos more or less or 1,000 dollars my earnings target for next six months.

Trading forex on a mobile phone or device would be a welcomed idea, but definitely it should not be the aspiration and intention of a beginner because it may be very difficult to analyze the chart due to the size. Although it is very flexible to trade on a mobile device , it is better managed by an experienced trader.

I think I agree with you, based on your points. Though it has its advantages. But when it has to do with clarity of view like you said, it becomes an issue. But when one gets used to it, I think the trader will be able to understand and interpret the market chart, because after-all, some mobile device have large screen.

More so, the advantages seem to be intriguing. Personally, I like the portability aspect of the use of mobile phone for trading. Since phone is very portable, the trader can even view the market right in the toilet or bus-stop, or wherever he finds himself. That really, is the beauty of technology.

Well comparing the cost of a pc and some low cost mobile phones,i will go with mobile phones, though there is always advantage and disadvantages, but one is better than none,we can get a good smartphone at the lowest cost of $200,perhaps can't even get a fairly use pc with such amount.

Also we have to consider the potability of mobile phone, which means we can watch our trade while doing other things and power is also another thing we have to consider,so am going with the mobile phone trading, such phones like black berry.

That's the only thing we can actually do with mobile trading is to watch or monitor our trade and to open and close our trade. But a lot of things we can't do in mobile trading like the chart we can't add things to it. But if you are doing naked trading then I guess mobile trading is more than enough for you to trade. After all its very handy and comfortable to use.

But the thing is we don't have too many wifi hotspot that is free with good speed. So I would have to pay monthly subscription for 3g connection which is not cheap. So for me since I am not a good trader yet, it's not worth it to pay for monthly Internet connection just to be able to monitor my trade when I am outside.

It's really hard for us to watch the continues trend of the market if the charts are not available in mobile phones. I know it will only work for naked traders but the traders who rely mostly on charts needs to open sites like forexfactory just to see charts of the currency that they are trading and monitor the movement of the strong trend.

Using 3g connection really gives a problem to traders since the ping is not consistent there will be times that it will have lost connection which will hinder you to trade better. You have no choice but to find a best wifi zone just to trade without any problems giving you a better chance to execute order in mobile. We just need to be careful on the security of our account and never save any password in the mobile if you can trade using the web then try to clear catches after using to just secure our account from sniffing softwares.

I never tried it yet but do you mean mobile platform does not support chart? When I'm doing some reviews I thought its can handle charts. But since I did not personally experience it only doing research as I want to buy tablet or smartphone to use as my mobile phone. I'm only waiting to 1,000 dollars and use that funds to buy either tablet or smartphone and my projection is that I can earn 1,000 dollars in four to six months time.

But right now I'm little concern if the mobile platform does not have charts. I thought the features is the same as mt4 only that its smaller since the screen of smartphone and tablet is smaller than that laptop or desktop. Anyway I will try to ask my brokers if their mobile applications has charts or not. If not then I guess I will just going to buy small notebook that I can carry instead of buying smartphone or tablet.

I have never heard of the 3G being that problematic. the connection with the 3G is much more consistent compared to the 2g or say EDGE and it does sometimes makes it easy for you to consider that you can always get into the Wifi zone and make sure that you're using the good connection. That way it would be better for you to trade using the connection which is worthy enough to do the forex trading on some tablet or say laptop or mobile.

I also don't think that we have to trade on mobile if we are being serious. We can also just use the apps to monitor the demo account performance or say using the app for the market watch. Many people are doing that way and then they consider the trading on say laptop or the computer which indeed makes their life easy as they go ahead with trading.

The portability of trading with mobile phone is a great advantage for traders who dosent have enough money to buy a pc. In mobile trading, its too hard to view our charts and that can be boring sometimes. It will be a good device for traders who do naked trade as it can provide them on what they need.
But in all, trading with the pc is much better and understandable and its the best and safer place to teach a newbie who is learning forex than that of mobile.
For me, i dont have much enough to purchase a pc and i think if i had to start up for now, a mobile trading will be the best option for me.

trading by using a mobile device (smart phone, tablet pc or other gadget) is becoming more and more trendy and viable these days. and it's all thanks to the development of technology that we have. even so, trading using gadget still have some weaknesses compared to trading by using laptop or PC.

for sure the screen is smaller when trading by using gadget and it will hurt your eyes in the long run. it's better to switch the usage between mobile device and laptop/pc. and also some features can't be seen in the mobile trading platform. on the other side, the merit of mobile device is it's easy to carry anywhere/not heavy.

I don't hink it will be affect our eyes because i have been working from mobile device for a long period of time and till date i still have a good eyes, the reaso is that we can possibly reduce the brightness of the screen or even increase the boldness of the letter so therefor trading with mobile is a good thing in an area where there is always power failure.

It is becoming popular now as not everyone can afford a computer or somepeople like me likes working from mobile cause it seems faster to me.

yeah that's great invention and we using it in our trading business. all those traders who won't have the pc or laptop they can work on their own mobile phone even they have the smart phone, tablet pc or other gadget which support to work on trading business. these things becoming trendy in these days. we can say thanks to the developers who make this all for us.
i think if we use trading through mobile phone then our eye will hurt us in the long run because due to small screen it effects us. it will be better if we switch from laptop or pc to moblie devices which support the trading business. in mobile some applications does not support. its easy to carry it any where. so mobile are working well in trading side.

We get mentally attack when we focus on charts more or we sit behind the screens more so mobile trade is best every time we can open charts or trading platform we can see our opening trades but we need expensive mobile with fast internet if we want to focus on charts because charts need fast connection..

Otherwise charts and market movement get late so we can get disadvantages in mobile trading!

I can confirm that there is currently no good Sony Erricson applications. But this is not your job or that music means and easy tasks. Here are some Android applications that can run on Android phones from Nokia, Sony and other brands. IPhone is one of the most popular phones in the U.S. market, the iPhone applications on currency and stock trading. In fact, there is so much in the store section of Android and iPhone applications related to finance purchase. Spend $ 2, you get it, and you can do with commercial developments and market with these applications.

Well I also donot have any problems with the 3g connection rather it is extremely fast and stable too but sometimes the ping problem might occur because the ping is not constant really that might lead the traders to losing out some time. But still the connection is really fast and we can lead the trade market very well too because if you have slow connection then you might sometimes lose out the chance of closing the trade market at the right time.

Sometimes we can see complaints from traders that they lost in the trade market due to their unresponsive internet connection and that thing surely can not come when a trader is trading in the trade market with a fast 3g connection.3g connections can though sometimes also depend on how good location that you might be in.And due to that fact being present in the 3g connections sometimes people find problems with the connection.

I know one can trade Forex with mobile phone , but it has disadvantage , and it is the fact that one can not really view the chart well for proper analysis , The screen of a phone is small and this is not really good for analysis. The Phone can be used to monitor ones trade after placing , adjusting stop loss or take profit.

The main analysis should be done on a PC . Its a welcome idea for mobile trading but i will pre-fare to use it for monitoring my trades other than placing or analysis them for obvious reason mentioned above.

yeah that's great invention and we using it in our trading business. all those traders who won't have the pc or laptop they can work on their own mobile phone even they have the smart phone, tablet pc or other gadget which support to work on trading business. these things becoming trendy in these days. we can say thanks to the developers who make this all for us.
i think if we use trading through mobile phone then our eye will hurt us in the long run because due to small screen it effects us. it will be better if we switch from laptop or pc to moblie devices which support the trading business. in mobile some applications does not support. its easy to carry it any where. so mobile are working well in trading side.

I think if we have mobile platform and device tablet pc or other mobile phone that support platform , it will help much for trader if they far from their computer or laptop , usually mobile device have small screen less than 10 inch , it's more easy to brought anywhere and everywhere along we have connection to the server we can manage our order easly , in addition if we use tablet pc i think already have wifi feature so if we in place free hotspot , we can login account easily

But so far i am never use mobile platform and only trade at home with my own computer , ans trade for long term trading plan , but very attracted if i have tablet pc with android operating system

it seems very likely, because many forex software applications that support a particular cell phone, such as iphone, android, ipad, or any other. however, sometimes very difficult to analyze through a cell phone because there is usually a weakness, which is an indicator that we put could not walk properly. but it also seems to me the execution speed is more comfortable and freely when using a computer-based trading software.

I think mobile trading is effective if you are on the go all the time and don't have the time for the trading on the desktop or any other way. I would be quite skeptical of the way things are going to be with the forex and that is why we can consider that mobile phone based trading is good for those type of the people. If you are similar situation then you should consider that as a way to trade, however that is not always productive and you should have to consider the desktop trading for more producitve effectiveness.

I have found that most of the time people prefer the desktop trading and i don't think the mobile or the app based trading is going to be popular because this is serious busness and not something like buyinig the mutual fund or anything that makes money quickly. that is why we have to understand how the people should invest into ti for time being.

Sure and i think thats one advantages of trading with mobile phone its portable and we can as well monitor the market with it so it has alll the features but i found one disadvantage, for the fact that it is portable we will be pushed to trade in a non conducisive area where we won't be able to have full concentration.

But with computer we will only trade in a conducisive place when we get home, but i still prefer mobiles because they have long lasting battery that computers do.

well trading by mobile phones is really a good idea. Because sometimes we cannot use our PC or we have to rush one place to another such that we cannot keep eye on our trade. I think if you have mobile phone which is GPRS enabled then you can use it. But some powerful legal Web Browsers required for browsing this site.Well i dont have enough information about this possibility but i also want more to know this query.

It is very difficult to give a logical why mobile phones are good or not, mobile phones can be used for a good trade. There are some specific mobile phones (smartphones) that are able to do. But I think we are not the reliability of the computer to compare the mobile phones.

Phones have features for operations, but not so easy. Huge trade is not well with mobile phones. But you can use mobile phones in case you can not use the computer at this time. If you start talking, when mobile phones are not good. This is because you yourself are a beginner and it will be difficult for you to buy using mobile phones. This is just my logic. Do what you do best.

As quoted refers only intelligent platform and Windows Mobile is the mobile phone. They say that there is a problem, because you can not create your own screen, and you can not use the EA. The other thing is that the functions are reduced and the quality is not so good. Another issue is the signal delay to the corridor if the signal is not stable.

I have also heard of a runner who develop trading platform that supports Symbian. It would be great if they developed software for Symbian Symbian phone because it is much cheaper than other Android phones, and Pocket PC.

@XENAR,
Though, you said it just right. There are other limitation attached to the use of the mobile phones, apart from the fact that a trader can hardly use an Expert Advisor on it, and also cannot create his own screen and other reduced functions. But nonetheless, a trader who is privileged to use a mobile devise like the android, has the advantage of portability and other mobility advantages, which may not be available to the use of the laptops.

Trading is very interesting when it is done with the right facility and tools. It is only the ignorant traders that trade with difficulty and struggle to make some tangible profit. When it comes to the use of mobile phones, it should be used by the experienced traders and not the beginners, who do not have enough trading knowledge.

Mobile trading is only good for monitoring. But on actual trading its always best to use computers. I don't have smartphone or tablet yet and this is what I'm dreaming to have right now. I promise myself if I'm going to earn 1,000 dollars in a month I'm going to use that money to by myself a smartphone or a tablet.

But my main purpose is that when I'm in travel I can just simply monitor my trading accounts using my mobile phone or tablet. But once I settle down in my hotel or the place that I'm saying I'm going to open my laptop and do some analysis to update my new price range. I experience that theirs a 3% buy signal but just after 30 minutes its down to 1% sell signal. So market is really volatile and that's why we need constant update and mobile phone is not the best way to do analysis.

There is no way one will be able to compare the two trading device due to computer has what it take to trade and can trade 24 hours of the day but when mobile is stress that much then it will wear off, meaning it will start having some problems due to it is not meant to under go that long hours of trading, however, for those who makes use of robot definately needs a computer due to i think there is no yet EA for mobile traders.

Mobile will be stressful at most times due to we will be carry it on our hands while a computer is kept on a table.

I think we all are moving with the world and as the world is getting shorter and smarter we must follow it is as well. Mobile computing is getting more usage than PC and laptop now a days. people tend to make moves on the move. They will surely love trading on mobile.

But there must be a good application like developed in android to work on mobile to make it possible to trade in it. And one problem that i feel would occur is that it would make a lot of problem in trading environment as you won't be able to see all the features at a screen.

So we must still not see the bigger and future picture and rely on the current market tools and use them to make better trading results.

The thing is that the data that you see from the mobile is very limited and you should check out how the trouble it causes these days to have the mobile readig and also tryig to trade. You need better monitor and the computer for the trading. that is all i can say. you can manage from the mobile sure. but can you make money from it. only you can answer the question there for yourself. I have found that it would not be easy for the people to manage with the mobile because it is quite small and also have the limited functions there.

I would think that in case of the mobile phones there are not many users who are going to be spending time and money with it. it would mean that we should be thinking about the either tablet or the computer that makes it easy to trade and manage. i don't know that it would be better in case of the forex, but we should try and see how that ends.
